Proceed to the survey: EMR: Issues and Challenges
Electronic Medical Records are the most useful of all clinical tools in the current times to facilitate evidence based decision making, to save resources on record keeping, and to improve operational management of the clinical office. Most simply stated, they are the Medical Records in Digital or Computer readable format. Medical Records can be simply defined as personal clinical information developed, recorded and retained by clinicians (or ancillary members of the care team) and providers in the process of patient care. If you wish, you can find more technical definitions on our glossary page.
The EMR, continue to be offered in countless varieties of design, depth, and accessibility. We endeavor to look at such parameters, and, certain issues and challenges EMR are going to face, from a clinician’s point of view. There is an assumption, for example, that doctors dislike technology, but it stands contrary to the fact that most of the good doctors in Pakistan use computers and almost all doctors use latest mobile gadgets.
We shall be asking you some questions in this survey, which will help establish or reject such concepts. It is a purely research exercise and we are hoping to put forward our findings in an upcoming conference and later publish these results too.
We solemnly declare that we do not intend to use the information gathered from this survey for any purpose other than research nor do we intend to share it with any other entity or party (unless required by the law).
